Tom and John from the Department of Environmental Protection came to visit and work with the six grade test the water quality of the marsh, and also answer questions from two students interested in wetlands and water quality, and land conservation.
Water quality testing involved measuring the pH, salinity, temperature, conductivity and turbity of three sites. Last year, they initiated the testing so now we have two years of data to compare. Students enjoyed using some high and low tech equipment!

| Two students had the rare opportunity to visit the Tenants Harbor Water District and get a personal tour of the facility and talk with one of the managers from AquaMaine. It was very informative and gave us an appreciation of the technology involved |
